An exciting, new & fun way to learn cursive writing!

The New American Cursive® Penmanship Program is an easy-to-follow resource for teaching beginning cursive. It presents simplified letter forms, using multi-sensory methods to aid in learning the motor skills necessary to write well. Developed by Iris Hatfield, with over 35 years of experience in the handwriting field, this program simplifies the process of teaching cursive handwriting.

The character Mr. Meerkat is the workbook's guide, making learning tasks fun; step-by-step, he shows the way to draw each letter. There are clear arrow directions for letter creation, and plenty of shaded letters to trace for practice. The books are bound at the top for equal access for left- and right-handers. This Penmanship Program encourages creativity and allows for individuality.

Also available is the StartWrite-driven handwriting worksheet program. This software allows teachers to produce their own customized copysheets with the New American Cursive® font set, including instructional starting dots and arrows. It is offered here at a special price.
